I’m on the home stretch (pun unintended) with the cabled socks. I just have to finish up the ankles, do the ribbing and bind off. Yea!
I have turned the cables twice on the ankles (6 or so turns to go), and I’m happy to announce that they are fitting very well!
And the small changes I made are almost imperceptible. Yea, again!
You will notice that the socks are now on a pair of US#3 (3.25mm) Inox grays. Have you ever seen a pair of socks that have been on so many needles? Lest anyone wonder, I did not have to abandon the STR Alina socks that I started a bit ago. I have two pairs of US#3 Inox grays. 😉
I think I’ll go back to the 3.0mm needles for the ribbing.
Judy – thanks for your comment about my new job – Picture this – a perfect view of Mt. Jefferson through the Aspens along Lake Creek in Camp Sherman!!! How cool is that!!
1Will be a major cut into my knitting time – but more funds for stash – I’ll be fine!!
Knit on!
