Apparently I was not alone in being swamped by pornographic trackback/pingback spam. PI was a small drop in a storm of such grossness that hit a myriad of blogs in the last several days.
Fortunately the developers community has been quick to step up to the plate. Mark has updated Three Strikes to handle trackbacks as well as comments.
I’ve had great luck with Three Strikes, and the new version looks every bit as good. I’ve installed it, tested it, and have it running.
So I’ve turned trackbacks and pingbacks back on.
Do your worst, you slimy excuse for a spam jerk. You will follow the others of your ilk to spam hell, but not to this blog.
